As a Senior Product Installations Engineer you will play a crucial role in overseeing the installation products, processes, and tools for Quatt’s range of energy-efficient solutions. This position requires vast experience in heat pump and HVAC systems, with a focus on improving installation efficiency and innovating the tools required for seamless operations. You will ensure Design for Installation throughout the product development process and take full accountability for the Installation and Service Bill of Materials (BOM). Additionally, this role will support market expansion efforts beyond the Netherlands.

You will bridge the gap between the product and operations teams, collaborating cross-functionally to enhance our product’s design and installation processes. Moreover, you will drive improvements in installation planning tools and ensure that our systems are built for optimal performance and serviceability.

🌱 What you'll be doing:

• Lead the definition of installation products, tools, and processes for Quatt’s full product range (heat pumps, home batteries, chill, thermostats, etc.).
• Take responsibility for Design for Installation and Design for Serviceability during the development phase, ensuring that new designs support easy, efficient installations.
• Own the Installation and Service BOM for all products, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Lead efforts to define tools, equipment, and processes needed for both current and future market expansion.
• Act as a cross-functional leader, collaborating with both the product and operations teams to drive innovation and ensure that design choices reflect operational efficiency.
• Take accountability for the creation, accuracy, and maintenance of internal installation manuals, ensuring they reflect the most up-to-date processes and best practices.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of tools used to plan and execute installations.
• Provide expert advice on installation best practices, continuously optimizing for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure availability of materials and tools required for installations.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in HVAC and heat pump technologies to incorporate the best practices into our processes.

💡 What you'll need?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of experience, particularly in heat pump and HVAC system design, installation, and service.
• Proven track record of leading installation design and processes in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Strong understanding of product design principles, especially in terms of installation and serviceability.
• Experience with cross-functional leadership, collaborating across product and operations teams.
• Basic understanding in CAD software (Solidworks, Fusion 360, etc.) and other relevant engineering tools.
• Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal), with a collaborative and problem-solving mindset.
• Experience in market expansion and adapting installation processes for new regions
